Opening/closing sessions: These sessions will welcome our delegates and wrap up the symposium.

Plenary Sessions

Plenary sessions will be held every morning on contemporary nutrition issues with presentations given by invited keynote speakers from leading development partners, UN agencies and government.

Panel discussions

Carefully selected thought leaders will participate in panel discussions designed to highlight and stimulate discussion around solutions for Kenya’s food/nutrition related challenges.

Workshops

Workshops will be organized to address specific symposium sub-themes. These will allow for in-depth discussions and interactions on the subject with the aim of coming up with expected outcomes and recommendations for innovative and sustainable strategies to address the issues.

Parallel Presentation sessions

Parallel sessions will be held to allow for oral presentation of accepted abstracts aligned to the symposium sub-themes. These will run concurrently and will be moderated to allow for discussion and interactions that will be expected to come up with innovative and sustainable strategies to address the issues presented at the sessions.

Poster Presentations

Posters will be presented during single poster session throughout the symposium days. Presenting authors will be required to stand by their poster during their session. Innovative poster presentations are encouraged. Poster board will be 90cm wide and 120cm tall and all posters must fit in that space.
